Two little grebe chicks were found on a floating nest at the Moro River. It seems that it hatched a few days ago. There were three eggs. Parents are busy taking care of their children, repairing nest and warming eggs. August 21, 2020.
Just before noon on June 27, 2020. Three of the chicks were trying to climb up the weir and got stuck in a hole. The hole had no bottom and they were able to escape; it took seven minutes for all three chicks to escape.
June 20, 2020 12:14 to 13:26. Chicks on the first or second day after birth were preying on tree frogs. Some chicks swallowed frogs from the frog’s head with water, while others were struggling to swallow them.
