Bipalium

It is commonly known as “hammerhead flatworms”, “hammerhead worms” or “broadhead planarians” .
When I exited the gate, there was something crawling along the road. It standed out because of its yellow color. I see it once or twice a year. I wonder where they are usually. The shape of the head is distinctive.

It was long and slender, so I measured its length. It was approximately 19.3 inches.
